What is it ?
Poke bowl (pronounced po-kay) is a Hawaiian specialty that will be the next big thing in food for 2016.
It’s a bowl of sticky rice topped with a mix of raw cubes of seafood. Those cubes are marinated in soy sauce and sesame oil, then garnished with onions, avocado, jalapenos, cucumber, seaweed….
A lot of combinations are possible for Poke bowl : Tuna, Salamon, spicy, mayonnaise…
It’s low in calories and fat, and high in protein.
It also provides an impressive amount of omega-3 that helps prevent heart disease, and with B vitamins, which improves digestion, metabolism and your skin.
